I was all for giving Hurst time and I really wanted him to do well. He seems like a very good man but I don't think it's going to work out.
Therefore it's probably better to make a change sooner rather than later. Don't ask me who I'd appoint as Jack Ross is unavailable now, but a manager with Championship experience and knowledge is a must. In the short term I'd stick Klug in.
As for the team I'd get Bart back in nets. Bring in Kenlock at left back, Dozzell in midfield and play two up front, or at least three attacking midfielders if we have to play one up front.
If we can get to January no more than three points from safety and get a few hardened Championship players in we have a good chance. But this can't go on for much longer or its hello League One.
