Surely another indication that the game could be played at 3pm on a Saturday.....

For me the whole ‘Sunday at 12:00 is the only time we can allow this game to go ahead’ argument was lost when they allowed pubs to open at 06:00!

Unfortunately, couldn’t that just as easily be used to evidence that kicking off at 12noon on a Sunday was a success?

There were three police vans going somewhere in a hurry towards town/the ground at Stoke bridge about half an hour after the game although as I said to my mate it might have been time for the shift change.

Not one fecker dashed on to the pitch after the goal.

It is absurdly policed for two of the most inoffensive sets of fans in the country, which is primarily why there isn't a sniff of trouble. I guess its easier to put all those road closures in place on a Sunday morning, but it seems they're no longer using drinking as an excuse with all the early openings at the pubs.

There's no point even having a go anymore. The amount of OB, horses, dogs, it's like Suffolk Police Parade, how many more vans can they get in? Then you have the Transport Police at the station who will nick anybody for the slightest thing. I went up on the supporters club coach today instead of the normal 8.30 train, wine at nine, cans, cans.

Lots of young morons walking to the station after the game mouthing off at each, a few punches, loved it when one of the Town fans had a go a copper, who immediately knocked him across the back with one.

Whilst I see your point they would still be powerless if 100 fans joined together in unison- and they wouldn't be able to arrest even half of them.

I saw at least two do it from where I was, Knudsen was ushering then back in the stand before they could be ejected.
