I expect that there is probably more to this than meets the eye.
But the short film does make it look bad on their part.
I'd have liked to have seen what the fans were doing prior to this.
The use of it, in such a confined area with a whole lot of innocent people inside also, seems a strange decision. [Post edited 21 Aug 2018 14:18]

From the video I saw a couple of days back on social media, there certainly seemed to be ample warning from the police that if the behaviour continued they would deploy CS Spray.
Regardless of the proportionality of the response, surely the point at which the police officers remove the cans from their holsters and start shaking them is the point at which you stop doing whatever it is that has provoked the reaction? |  |
