...seems to be a word in daily use on here.
I cannot help thinking about those loveable characters from the Beezer comic of my childhood.
Makes "numbskull" a term of endearment rather than an insult!

Oh cool, they were one of my favourites. Still have hundreds of Beano comics from when I was younger but never really liked the Dandy. Knew that there were crossovers but was too young to understand that they were owned by the same people. Didn't realise characters ever moved comics though, that's cool!

I had to check. I always remember them in The Beezer, but seems that they ARE in The Beano now! I wasn't aware that they moved.
Must be a new thing. Wouldn't have been allowed in the 60s.......

Yes, apparently there is (was?) a version that ran alongside the Beano in the "digital Dandy"....
