Gluing on a wing mirror 08:48 - Jul 16 with 1044 views | uefacup81 | Some scr*te decided to kick my wing mirror off on Saturday night. I was resigned to getting it replaced, but I've been told that some two-part superglue and some gaffer tape should do the trick. It's a 1998 Fiesta, so I'm not too bothered about how the repair looks. Any thoughts on whether there's a specific sort of glue I should be looking at? I've had this recommended to me ( https://www.screwfix.com/p/mitrebond-aerosol-kit-2-pcs/28848) but it looks like it's only good on wood.

Gluing on a wing mirror on 09:02 - Jul 16 with 1006 views | monytowbray | I used to use that epoxy resin mix stuff on mine. Had so many wing mirrors kicked off when I lived in Portsmouth. Pretty sure you weren't a proper Southsea local unless you'd had your wing mirror kicked off at least 3 times. I've only had it happen once in Ipswich, when I parked up Rectory Road near the station whilst I was in London. It was folded in on the pavement side, meaning some d1ckhead purposely went out their way to do it. Was a proper whack too, mirror was shattered. People who kick wing mirrors off are scum.
