Braintree tomorrow 12:10 - Jul 13 with 1595 views | No_Moore_Kieffer | For anyone who's driving down to the game tomorrow, what's the best option for parking? Never been before so I've got no idea where to park, does anyone know the cheapest/best/closest car parks to the ground?
Braintree tomorrow on 12:17 - Jul 13 with 1567 views | GlebeTractor | Leave the M11 at junction 8 and take the A120 towards Colchester. Follow the A120 for 16 miles until you reach the 'Galley's Corner' roundabout (with McDonalds on your right). It is the first roundabout after the M11 and you will know when you are near it because you will get stuck in a lengthy tailback! Take the first exit into Cressing Road. After three quarters of a mile turn left into Clockhouse Way (signposted Braintree Town FC, and Braintree Tennis Club) and then first left again for the ground. Car Parking There is a small car park at the ground which costs £2, but closes on police advice 30 minutes before the match. No ‘car park full’ signs are placed out on the road, and it can be difficult to turn around as kick off time approaches if you are turned away. Considerate street parking is a good option, and there is plenty of it available particularly along Stubbs Lane (the last turning on the left along Cressing Road before the ground is reached).

Braintree tomorrow on 12:22 - Jul 13 with 1548 views | soupytwist | Anyone going to the Braintree game on Saturday? by soupytwist 12 Jul 2018 12:34There's a car park at the ground which isn't that big. Street parking is possible along Cressing Road which is very close to the ground. Stubbs Lane and Beckers Green Road are off Cressing Road and should have some spaces. Both are about 5 minutes from the ground. If you go to the end of Beckers Green Road you can park by the rugby club, there won't be anything on and you can follow the foot path past the Community Centre across George V playing fields to Cressing Road.

Braintree tomorrow on 14:08 - Jul 13 with 1378 views | Vaughan8 | Went there a few years ago. Plenty of road parking if you don't mind a 5 minute walk. The ground is fairly hidden amongst houses so try not to get lost! haha

For any supporter in two minds whether to come along tomorrow...… Taken from the Braintree website, "Iron welcome Championship neighbours Ipswich Town to Cressing Road on Saturday, 14th July, with kick-off at 3pm. The Portman Road side have indicated that they will be bringing a strong side to test Braintree, newly promoted back to non-League football's top flight! Admission for the match will be just £10 for adults and only £5 for OAPs and under 18s. Tickets for the match will not be available in advance and all spectators can pay at the appropriate turnstile (1-4) on arrival. A colour programme will be available - just £2. The clubhouse will be open to both home and away fans before, during and after the match with a range of Molson Coors finest ales and lagers. Unfortunately spectators will NOT be allowed to bring drinks into the stadium. Hot food and drink, plus ices and cool drinks will also be on sale. No segregation will be in place." Having been a regular at both Braintree and Ipswich over the years I have to say what a great little set up there is and whilst you may have to queue a bit its well worth it! Footlong hotdogs are great, and not many grounds with an ice cream van inside! Great range of drinks - Coors, Carling, Staropramen, Doom Bar, Worthingtons, Guiness & Aspalls on draught...……. Other option is to park at freeport..... Only a 10 minute walk if you follow the footpath from the main freeport roundabout!
