What has any of that got to do with what he said lastnight?

He was the most decorated and successful captain of the biggest club in the world for ten years.

His opinion counts no matter what he did at Ipswich.

Because he's a gobsh1te.

Banging on, and on, and on, about John Stones making mistakes at the World Cup - at least Stones was on the pitch to make them, Royston, you part-time b@stard.

I'd sooner listen to Andrew Strauss or Martin Johnson's opinions on last night than I would Keane's.

When his national team called for him, he ran home as fast as his angry, puce little legs could carry him. Because he was bigger than the team.

He is the complete anti-thesis of everything this England team is about.

The truth hurts.

Keane on the ball with a few truth bombs and he gets scalded by the usual few here.

He is well entitled to his opinion especially considering the great career he has had.

He was correct in what he said, English pundits were talking about the final and ignoring Croatia, he picked the wrong time to say it though.

I couldn't understand why they wanted an Irish man to be there for and England/ Croatia game!

Whatever has he done to his hair? Last time he was on he had grey stubble and a lot of grey on his head. It was all black yesterday.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say hair dye.

Is it only girls that are allowed to dye their hair?

RIP Sir Bobby

Think relations improved after that not overly promising start!

No doubt ITV were thinking of Man U supporters when they hired him.
His time at ITFC should have shown ITV producers that he isn't really fit for the job.

I’d agree with that. It was a fairly sensitive time, so to speak.

I'm not disputing the validity of what Roy Keane said but when the nation has just had a devastating loss you just don't need someone who clearly couldn't care less telling you what they should have done.
BBC would have handled it a lot more sensitively like Des Lynam did in 1990.
ITV are not even capable of putting together a nice musical montage to make people feel a bit better.
