The tinpottery of celebrating their heady days when a good six month run got them to 3rd in the top league for the only time ever. We missed out on the same place on the final day of the season on our next try, the year after being promoted. Not sure about the badge position surely it should be a little lower so it is clear of the patterned area. It may be deliberate, perhaps the green bit that seems to flow out of the top of the badge celebrates another bit of Budgie history, the day they burned the stand down. It depicts smoke from the burned out stand.
