Cringeworthy article. I don't even know where to start. That ME doesn't know how to get a signing over the line, that he felt the need to ask BF, that BF flapped his gums to a reporter about it, that it's actually been written up into an article.

Why? Ignoring the fact he's a bit of a burke, Barry Fry's record within the lower leagues is fantastic. He's incredibly well respected within those circles.

He, or at least Peterborough in general, have certainly unearthed a hell of a lot of players over the years that have increased in value.No doubt someone there knows what they are doing and it could well be Barry Fry.

It's just chat isn't it. People in any business/walk of life often just chat to those in the same line of work to just get a feel of things.

Evans is bound to have said, "blimey you're getting on with it." or something like "Are you finding this agent is getting more annoying."

I am grateful to Evans. I just wish he would bring a little more of his business nous to the transfer market and speculate to accumulate on lower league players with a little more conviction.
