well its an easy one
we dint think we can beat team A but we think we ca beat team B
so if team B beat team A then we wont have to play Team A, who we cant beat but will play Team B who we can beat

If you were asked, however, whether you'd rather play Mexico or Switzerland rather than Germany or Brazil, I imagine you'd opt for the former 90% of the time. | |

As a kid I always wondered why if team A beat team B 3-0 and we beat team A 4-0 why we couldn't beat team B 7-0.
I also used to think if you beat a team higher up the table you should swap places. Got to admit that would make the Prem more exciting with Man City away to Huddersfield on the final day. | |
