I always thought grillsteaks were suspicious 'cheap brand' products. No idea if that is true.

Grillsteaks were an innovation, I think in late 80's, to differentiate the market and create a perceived higher end product. They are just minced meat formed into a slightly more elongated shape, like a steak, rather than circular as burgers are.

The Bird's Eye Grill Steaks used to have griddle scorch marks on, so, you know, were proper classy.

Any mass-produced burgers shouldn't be eaten pink/rare/medium-rare, and I'd say the same for any burger that isn't definitely made from minced steak.

Burgers tend to be made from minced beef - well the good oens anyway - keep away from those that look a biy grey they may be from rendered meat.

Grillsteaks are an American invention using masserated meat not usually mincing well

Stick with real meat OR make you own burgers
