Mick yearns for the premier league but for me, this outburst shows precisely why he is and will always be second tier manager.
In a moment of collective triumph for his team, staff and club Mick could only think about himself. He was consumed by self pity and the nasty boys who say mean things to him.
His manic reaction was equal to yelling at the world 'ME,ME - POOR ME'.
That moment wasnt and shouldnt have been about you Mick - it was about your club - the collective.
You should be able to handle one song that criticises you!
His painfully weak resilence to criticism leads to these embarrasing expressions of egotism which ultimately, affect his judgememt and decision making.
The fact he says 'the more you shout the less likely I will' clearly demonstrates he allows negative emotion to influence important decisions.
He does loads of things really well, team spirit, work rate, recruitment etc - all brillaint. But, until he can handle some stick and make objective decisions he wont be a premier league manager.
That and he thinks possession football is tippy tappy b******s!
