WOTB is a pleasure to visit at present, lots of hand wringing and where has it gone wrong posts.

Seems blindingly obvious that employing a manager who’s cv is 6 years with a regional side and 2 with Dortmund ressies was a massive massive gamble.

Snigger.....

The only Muff in Town.

Nodge seem to have shot themselves in the foot selling a lot of their better performers and replacing them badly

It is a pleasure to see

It is about time their luck ran out

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

If they sell Maddison and Hoolahan in January to balance the books they're in deep trouble.

But it worked with Wagner so it was guaranteed to work for them!

Truly impaired.

That's what happens when a club tries to ape someone else's success rather than take a fresh risk.

Says me, an Ipswich supporter where the approach has been to appoint previously successful managers and hope it works.

Was a crazy decision , anyone half decent with that squad and they are right up there, why would their board take the gamble ? especially as this seems the last season when they have the financial edge.

Are they starting to consider the possibility that they might not actually win the league after all?

There is every reason to assume that appointing previously successful managers would work again but just because Huddersfield plucked a manager out of the blue and it worked it does not necessarily follow that copying it would work for somebody else.
