Don’t worry about it, it’s just the kind of media orchestrated bullshït the Aussies lap up before every Ashes series. It’ll boost viewing figures and ticket sales no doubt. For what it’s worth I don’t think either squad is great. Their pace attack is good but injury prone, I’d be surprised if all 3 of them play all 5 tests and their back ups are nothing special. If we’re going to win it’ll be down to our strength in the middle order I reckon. Ali, bairstow and woakes are better than what they have, and if stokes gets out there we have a real chance. As for Nathan Lyon, yeah he’s a pretty good spinner, but he’s no warney. I doubt the English players give a stuff about anything he says |  |
