For Phil/Gav. Adverts springing up on screen! 09:07 - Nov 2 with 784 views

Hi Phil/Gav.

Today when browsing the forum (not logged in) I had an IBM advert appear over the front of the TWTD forum screen - the whole screen.

The same happened yesterday but that was for a company selling cars. I didn't make a note of that "company".

On both occasions I just closed down TWTD and did not click on the "X" to close down the advertising as not sure if doing that would be correct. When TWTD closed down the adverts also disappeared.

Annoying. I know TWTD rely on advertising revenue but should this type of "taking over" advertising be happening?

Hard to say without seeing it myself. People who are logged in get fewer ads, so that wouldn't have happened I'd expect had you been logged in.
