Celina isn't helping himself 14:59 - Sep 23 with 13738 viewsMonkeysChuff

Liking comments on Twitter saying, 'Celina must be fuming that he's not starting.'
I can understand his annoyance but to do so through social media is daft, especially with MM as manager.

Well, what does he have to do to start games!?

He will be gone in January I suspect. I can see his dads liked Tweets where people have asked why he's not starting. He's the one player that could possibly get us up the pitch with his direct running

One thing he probably shouldn't be doing is acting like a spoilt child.

Regardless, you can't have a situation where players and their parents demand when they play.

His actual dad 'liked' those Tweets?

Wtf is wrong with these people?

Celina as well liked a tweet the other day saying something like 'Celina been injured for a couple of days but can't start but you know mick would start Chambo if it was him'

No idea what the lad is playing at

You can't have that going on. Doesn't matter how good a player is.

Unity is far more important than his ego.

He's obviously been bought in to start games or on the belief he'd get games. He's played well when coming on so it's not really unrealistic that he thinks he deserves to start?

It's not about what he thinks he deserves though is it?

He's not our player and will either do as is asked of him or leave?

Maybe part of the loan reasoning is to teach him that?

However, it does sound as though the game could do with something else if Nydam and Adeyemi aren't contributing enough. Edit( regarding Blaggers post).

It sounds like he made up Mick's mind for him regarding his attitude.
Reminds me of the situation with Jet.
Can't see him starting games until he changes.

Whilst a player with obvious ability he could cause problems within the squad I noticed Garner berating him for keep hold of the ball instead of passing it the other week.

I agree - Mick isn't going to start him until he stops whinging about starting. It's a shame as we could do with him, especially at home, but I fully understand where Mick would be coming from with this too.

Interesting comment from MM re Nydam today too, " He's a proper player "

I dont get this clamour for him to start. He looks a talent, cant deny that, but hes not entirely ripped it up every game hes played. He didnt make any sort of dramatic contribution today and in his only start so far, at Palace, in a team full of stand-out performances, Id say his wasnt one of them.
He came on v Fulham and barely made an impact.

Granted, he made positive contributions v Bolton and QPR, but thats what we want from a substitute- to watch how the game has developed, then come on and make an impact as the game opens up.

I think hes doing absolutely fine, is contributing more and more as a substitute and will get opportunities to start. Like every other player, if he makes an impact then he will get a start. I think hes exactly where he should be, a month into the season at a new club.

I’d suggest some our fans are not helping him by tweeting him hoping for a reaction.

The fans want him to play. He has been very good when on the pitch. MM sees an opportunity to wind up the fans and he will drive this class player away. We got rid of an Everton youngster last year to accommodate Douglas. The same will happen with Celina. Clubs will wonder why on earth they should send players here.

His time will come. He might get it very soon given we'll need to rotate and rest up players to keep this going.

The talent but not the temperament is there. Some very poor decision making at times, but I think that comes with age and not yet being fully used to a side with so many players coming and going.

I think he was coming on when they scored their third as Mick had him by his side in the build up play - was a sickening way for it t come about.

Exactly this.
His time will come. This situation is being blown out of all proportion- hes well on target Id expect, particularly given that he wasnt fit to start at the beginning and needs to get himself into the team.
