Yes, Emmanuel needs regular games. At the moment, he isn't that good, whilst Spence and Iorfa are much better than him. A full season at Rotherham with 30+ games under his belt will do him (and us) the world of good. At the same time, we get a very good player in Iorfa, versatile, young and plenty of experience at this level. [Post edited 22 Jul 2017 19:28]

The general consensus last season was that there was very little between Spence and Emmanuel so when Emmanuel was loaned out lots of people changed their opinion to match mccarthy's so the consensus is now that he is not good enough without a single ball being kicked |  |

I think MM sees Iorfa as a versatile defender who can cover both CB and RB. Hopefully JE will get plenty of games at Rotherham and come back a better player. If he doesn't play he'll be back here before you know it and challenging for a place in the team.

Wolves fans call him Eyeawful ha, don't think he's the most composed on the ball and apparently can't shoot(a wing back who can is a huge asset, think Neil Thompson, chips in with goals and can play long raking passes as opposed to a wayward hopeful hoof)..but very quick and strong and experienced, can play centre back, holding also..

Spence is our player and did pretty well last season , but can't see Iorfa or Wolves happy if he doesn't play .................so it is a bit of a strange signing | | | |
